How to Make a Listing

If you own or know of a coworking space that hasn’t gotten any love on Cowrk.Club yet, don’t worry! By following the few simple steps listed below, you can create a listing that spotlights that space all on your own — it’s easy.

First, make sure to login. You’ll need a WordPress account to add a coworking space listing, so make sure to Sign in or Register before we begin.

Let’s go!

After logging in to your WordPress account, you can create your listing. In the site’s dropdown menu under More you’ll see an option for Add a Coworking Space Listing. Click that and you’re already well on your way.

Step One: General

In the first box is where you’ll input all the general info about the coworking space you’re adding. This includes Title, a catchy Tagline (which is totally optional, but helps give the space a voice), and a description.

In your description of the space, you’ll want to include keywords like the name of the city the space is in, that it’s a coworking space and what kind of services are available to rent. For example, does this space offer daily memberships and shared hot desks, or private office space only?

Step Two: Upload Images for your Coworking Space

Each listing includes a logo, a cover photo and a gallery. It’s quickest to have all of the photos and saved and ready to upload before you create the listing, but it’s totally up to you. If you don’t have them yet, you can go save some now!

The logo should be 300 x 300, and for the cover image you’ll want to be sure to use a high-resolution photo as it’s quite large on the listing page. Plus, it’s the first image coworkers will see of your space.  This is your opportunity to give a sense of what the space looks like and pull coworkers in!

For your gallery, which is optional but always useful, you’ll want images that highlight the ambiance and flexibility your space has to offer. Think desks, phone booths, kitchen photos, outdoor space (if you have one) and natural lighting. Use whatever photos really let your space to shine.

Step Three: Contact Information and Hours of Your Coworking Space

This step is simple and painless. All you need to do is add the space’s contact email — which is the email all coworker inquiries will be sent to — the space’s website (if there is one), any social network accounts for the space, and a phone number.

This section also allows you to fill in the space’s address, city, operating hours, and time zone.

Step Four: Map Address

Begin typing in the space’s full address, and choose the right one when it appears in the drop down options. Once you’ve got the right address in, Lock Pin Location into place. This will lock your space visually onto the map, and allow coworkers to get a real sense of where your space is — this is especially helpful if they are not familiar with the location.

Step Five: Your Offerings and Rates

Does your space have meeting rooms, private desks, and private offices? Or are you strictly hot desk central? Make it clear what you offer! This will help attract the coworkers that are right for the space.

Check off all the listing types available at your coworking space, as well as the amenities. Do you have free coffee and tea all day? 24/7 access? Gym and a kitchen space? This is your opportunity to show what you’ve got.

Choose the right currency for your space from the drop down options, and all the current rates.

Do not include the dollar sign [$] in the price and do not add zeros after the price.  Example: 150 = correct. $150.00 = incorrect.

Final Step: Preview Your Listing and Post.

Congrats! You’ve just created your first listing. Here’s to the next.
